Online Single-Subject Courses

Galway Academy has created single-subject online courses which are designed to educate students about a variety of topics that could help to enhance their careers and/or which may be of interest to them.

These short self-guided distance learning courses can be beneficial for anyone, but may be of particular interest to individuals who want to learn about a certain subject, but they don’t want to spend an entire semester to gain the knowledge.

Students can take these single-subject online courses at their own pace, whenever and wherever it is comfortable for them, as long as they have a device with Internet access, such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

The courses are divided into several chapters and at the end of each chapter, there are assignments to complete and a brief quiz to take.

When the course is completed, the student will take an online multiple choice final exam to measure how much of the course material he or she learned and will be informed of the results.

IELTS Test Preparation Course

Many people worldwide need to take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam in order to evaluate their level of English language proficiency.

Galway Academy makes available an online IELTS Test Preparation Course which can help people to increase their IELTS exam scores by becoming familiar with the format of the IELTS exam and the kinds of questions that they may encounter before they actually take the IELTS exam.
